Sarah Grace The Voice Season 15 Blind Audition

After 15 year old Brynn Cartelli won the spring cycle of The Voice with help from coach Kelly Clarkson, the show seems keen to promote their young hopefuls.

First the show released a preview of 13 year old Kennedy Holmes crooning Adele’s “Turning Tables.”. Now check out 15 year old pint sized blues singer, Sarah Grace, belting out a cover of Janis Joplin’s’ “Ball And Chain.”The rendition prompts three turns, from coaches Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton. Adam Levine is left to referee the ensuing battle.

Adam, of course advocates for Kelly and Jennifer. “We’re all excited to watch the sparks fly as they fight over your adorable face and incredible talents,” says Adam.

“You had stank face for days!” gushes Kelly, who was the first coach to hit her button. Jennifer has another name for it. “Here at JHud productions, we call that sass,” she says. “Somebody’s got some presence up in here!”

Sarah decides she prefers “sassy” over “stank face.” But then Kelly reminds her that she WON The Voice last season with a 15 year old.

Kelly asks what kind of album Sarah would like to make. “Probably a blues rock roots album pulling from Etta James, Janis Joplin…”

“You seem to know who you are, what you want to do. It’s amazing,” says Jennifer.

Blake compliments her blues wail. “Yours was just full of grit, and passion.” He continues. “For me, to turn around and see that you’re 15 and THIS TALL. He jokes that picking his 6′ 5” self will result in hilarious photographs. Plus, he would never assume that “your face smells.” Kelly will never live down that “stank face” remark.

Who will Sarah choose? Find out when The Voice season 15 premieres on Monday September 24. We’ll be live blogging all the performances here.
