Sales News – Week Ending 08/27/15

The much delayed Billboard update is now here and the sales numbers should be finalized today. Last week, two albums debuted at the top of BB charts and this week we have debuts from Carly Rae Jepsen and Jordin Sparks.

Two debuts this week that top chart. Melanie Martinez from the Voice tops the Alternative Album charts with “Cry Baby”. Meanwhile, from AGT, Emily West debuts at the top of the Heatseakers – South Central chart.

“Drag Me Down” from One Direction continues to top the Billboard Twitter Track chart for a fourth week.

Lindsey Stirling’s album “Shatter Me” tops the Classical Cross-Over chart for the 48th.
