Let’s take a look at last week’s ratings for the singing shows: The Voice, American Idol and The Masked Singer. The Voice numbers rose in the demo and in overall viewers, while The Masked Singer demo rose slightly. American Idol held it’s own in a post-Oscars late night timeslot on Sunday.
The Voice Monday ratings on NBC rose in week 2 from 0.60 to 0.74 in the 18-49 demo. The show’s overall viewers increased from 6.4 million to 7 million. Tuesday’s ratings stayed steady at .50.
Meanwhile, American Idol put up decent numbers on ABC, considering The Oscars preempted their regular timeslot. A special one hour episode of auditions began airing at 12:15 am on the East Coast, but still managed to pull in a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4 million viewers.
The Masked Singer on FOX rose from week to week, from a 0.65 in the demo to 0.68.
