PJ, Sarah, Chachi and I headed out to the concert venue early in the afternoon to see if we could catch the Idols at the buses, and we did! We saw, Ramiele Malubay, Brooke White Michael Johns, Kristy Lee Cook, Carly Smithson, Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro. Later after we left, I hear David Archuleta came out to greet fans. I took pictures, and I got everyone, except for Syesha, who was only out for a quick hi to the fans.
The entire length of of parking lot fence was mobbed with fans, and there were local police on hand to keep the crowd in check. In case an Idol riot broke out!. Actually, despite the hot and humid weather, the crowd was polite and orderly, and the Idols were very patient as they made their way down the line to sign stuff and pose for pictures with fans. Michael mentioned that he’d have a record out early next year. I yelled out “Are you signed yet?” No answer. I guess he didn’t hear me! Ha ha. Anyway, Michael is not only way hot in person, he’s also funny as hell.
Jason got a ton of shwag from fans he had to haul away. All of the girls are absolutely stunning in person–and tiny, except for the statuesque Kristy Lee.
