Congratulations to Phillip Phillips. His debut album, The World from the Side of the Moon has just been certified platinum by the RIAA. That means the record has shipped over 1 million copies.
The milestone falls on the heels of Phillip’s single, “Gone Gone Gone” being certified platinum for selling over 1 million downloads. The American Idol season 11 winner’s MASSIVE hit, “Home” is 4x platinum certified! I hope Phil has plenty of wall space cleared in his house.
Not that he has time to hang trophies. Phillip is currently on the road, opening for John Mayer and will remain through the fall leg of the American dates. Check out the full schedule HERE.
