The People’s Choice Awards aired tonight on CBS. That’s where YOU get to vote for your favorite TV Show, Movie, Music, Actors, and Singers. A few of our blog favs won awards tonight. Anna Faris and Allison Janney, stars of the CBS series, Mom, were the hosts.
In the Favorite Competition Series category, The Voice won it’s second consecutive award! How convenient that Mark Burnett producers both The Voice and People’s Choice. JUST KIDDING.
Carrie Underwood nabbed Favorite Female Country Artist. Is anyone surprised? Adam Levine and Maroon 5 won Favorite Group. Fellow The Voice coach, Pharrell Williams took home the award for Favorite R&B Artist. For the third year in a row, Chris Colfer won Best Comedic Actor. He was a write in nom. Sweet his fans could earn him one last win for Glee. None of the winners picked up their trophy in person, by the way.
However, Chris did promise his fans he’d dance with his pets (Brian the cat and Cooper the dog) to “Shake It Off” if he won. Welp.
