The tune will appear on the a cappella singers’ upcoming EP, PTX Vol 3, set to drop on September 23rd. It’s the first major label release from the group since they were signed by RCA earlier this year.

  1. I pre-ordered their new EP and this song was in my email this morning, great surprise!

  2. Calling 911 cause they just assaulted my ears with beautiful sounds.

  3. They were at the Alaska State Fair yesterday for two shows – simply AMAZING!!!

  4. Has anyone heard if the Sing-Off will be on again? I really enjoy the show and Pentatonix is my all time fav.

  5. This is beautiful.

I’m confused about what you wrote about this being the first major label release since they signed with RCA earlier this year. PTX I and II were also released be RCA. Was this just a contract renewal?

  6. Their post-Sing Off label was Madison Gate Records. Wikipedia describes it as an independent Sony-owned label.

Now they are with RCA which is obviously a major label.

  7. Musically, this is very impressive. Lyrically, I don’t think the songs blend (if I tilted my head to the side and squinted, I could probably tell a story about the two sides of a relationship being juxtaposed, but I think two less diametrically opposed songs would have worked better in this instance).

The staging of the video, however, is a master class in making minimalism look high-end and purposeful.
