The Los Angeles Times is reporting that two sources have confirmed that Nigel Lythgoe is returning to American Idol to run the show with Ken Warwick.
Haven’t we already heard this rumor? Several times? Why is the LAT repeating it?
This, my peeps, is what we have to look forward to until FOX makes the official announcements.

Nigel left Idol in 2008 supposedly to run So You Think You Can Dance, but sources at the time said friction with Simon Cowell led to Nigel’s exit.
Sources have also told LAT that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have deals “in principle” to become judges on the show.
