Jordin Sparks, ‘Bachelorette’ Stars JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers Launching Channels on Kin’s Network – Digital-entertainment network Kin is gearing up to launch new lifestyle channels with three pop-culture personalities: singer-actress Jordin Sparks, and JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers of “The Bachelorette” fame. The new content pacts further build on Kin’s “neighborhood” strategy, focused on creating an interconnected network of owned-and-operated channels targeted at millennial women across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram TV and Amazon. Sparks, the winner of “American Idol” season 6 back in 2007, has over 12 million social-media followers. And The Voice season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery will release her new single, a duet with Thomas Rhett titled “Goodbye Summer.”

“American Idol” winner to perform March 15 in Q-C – Maddie Poppe, winner in May of ABC’s “American Idol,” will perform a benefit concert March 15 at Rhythm City Casino, 7077 Elmore Ave., Davenport, to raise money for Gilda’s Club Quad-Cities. Bucky Covington to headline Boots & Roots Music Festival – “We’re definitely going to have an awesome time.” That’s how headlining act Bucky Covington referenced the Boots & Roots Music Festival concert to benefit veterans scheduled for Saturday at the Stanly County Fairgrounds. Covington said he has started his own record label. “The best thing about having your own record label is you don’t have anybody telling you what to do. You can do what you want to,” he said. David Friedman: We had Evvie and Zhavia in our comeback episode before the finale and we hinted at the fact that Evvie would be back to do her new single.
