It’s upfronts week for the broadcast, cable and streaming networks, and today NBCUniversal unveiled its 2022 fall schedule. Previously announced: The Voice is renewed and will return for season 22 after the network replaced the Spring cycle with American Song Contest. The big news is that after 8 cycles that began midseason 2018, Kelly Clarkson has given up her seat on the coaches panel–at least for now. The singer wants to spend more time with her kids.
The new panel includes veterans Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and John Legend plus new member, Camila Cabello. The Voice retains its regular time slots: Monday (8-10 pm) and Tuesday (8-9 pm).

Miley Cyrus will head the NBC New Year’s Eve Special, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, for a second season.
America’s Got Talent season 17 kicks off its summer season on Tuesday May 31 at 8 pm followed by the new social media-inspired dance challenge Dancing with Myself, featuring Shakira, Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy.
Carson Daly, Blake Shelton and Nikki Bella are in New York City to present their new USA Network show, Barmageddon, to advertisers. Its premiere date is stilt TBA.
