More Season 6 News

I’m pulling this blog post  from the Houston Chronical  out of the Idol headlines  thread ’cause it’s got some interesting bits about post-tour plans for some of the Idols:

Blake Lewis:   He says he took, “All the pictures for my (CD cover).” He describes his upcoming CD as “”2000-’80s” and he describes the six tracks he’s got recorded already, “I’ve got a track that’s very Erasure-sounding, a track that’s Sting-meets-Neverending Story and a track that’s very electro-poppy Depeche Mode. It’s all over the map.”    Blake allowed the blogger to listen to some rough cuts on his Ipod, and the blogger says, “It was an expectedly eclectic, electro-pop mix, ranging from Kylie Minogue-esque club grooves to a quick sample of ’80s hit Owner of a Lonely Heart. Killer stuff.”

Gina Glocksen: She says about the album she’d like to make, “I really hope that (my album) kind of a cross between Pink and Evanescence. Kind of a dark, yet positive, sound. I don’t want to sing about negative things.”

Phil Stacey: “I have recorded a couple of songs already, and I have been in contact with labels…I know the kind of recording I want to make, and I’m hoping to put it out sooner than later.”   Phil has stated in interveiws that he is moving to Nashville and would like to put out a country album.   Thanks pj, star and Team Plaid
