It almost seems the only songs reaching milestones this week are songs that are debuting on charts. Fantasia’s new single, “Bittersweet”, went for adds last Tuesday and already landed on the Urban chart this week. The song also moved into the top 20 on UAC (the only song on a chart to reach a new milestone). This song looks like it’s on it’s way to be a hit.
Over on the HAC and AC charts, we aren’t seeing a lot of Idol movement. Not a single Idol single in the top 20 in either format moved a spot. But, that didn’t stop two songs from debuting. Kris Allen’s new single “The Truth” debuted at 46 on HAC (it appeared on the chart a week and half after it’s add date) giving him two songs on that chart. Over on AC, Kelly’s “All I Ever Wanted” debuts at 44 giving her two songs on that chart (it wasn’t officially sent for adds on the AC chart).
