This week’s milestones features a Cookie, half a Cake, a former Marine and Kelly Belly.
Chris Richardson looks to have a hit on his hands. This 5th or 6th place finisher from Season 6 sings the hook for Tyga’s “Far Away” and for the third week in a row, the song has hit one of our milestones. This week, it has reached top 30 on Rhythmic. Top 30 is always an interesting milestone because this is when RateTheMusic puts the song on it’s call-out survey.
Another artist hitting this important Top 30 milestone this week is David Cook. “The Last Goodbye” is the debut song off his sophomore album and it has reached top 30 this week. It actually hit the milestone earlier in the week.
But, that is not all the top 30 songs Idols have achieved this week. Josh Gracin, usually a contry artist, has a top 30 song on AC. “Long Way To Go” is his second single released by Josh under his new label Average Joe.
Finally, the season 1 winner, Kelly Clarkson, continues to have success with her duet with Jason Aldean. “Don’t You Wanna Stay” never wants to go and it is now top 10 on AC.
