Monday Morning Mediabase Update: July 11-17

Carrie Underwood tops the Country airplay charts once again. The Season 4 American Idol winner has made a habit of driving her songs up the Country chart and ringing the bell for number one. This time, it is her third single “Church Bells” from her fifth studio album, “Storyteller”.

Over on Pop, Fifth Harmony achieves yet another milestone. This week the 5 girls from X-Factor US move into the top 15 with “All in My Head (Flex)”. It is their second song from their second album “7/27” (named after the day they were formed as a band). Their debut single from that album went to number one on the chart.

Over on the BB200 chart, Drake returns to the top of the chart with “Views” for the 10th non-consecutive week. “Views” becomes only the 10th album in the last 20 years to top the chart for 10 weeks (Adele “21” (24), “Titanic” (16), “Frozen” (13), Santana “Supernatural” (12), Alanis Morissette “Jagged Litte Pill” (11), Taylor Swift “1989” (11), Adele “25” (10), Backstreet Boys “Millennium” (10), Drake “Views” (10)).
