Just two milestones this week – one from an Idol winner and one from an X-Factor UK group.

One Direction explodes onto the chart this week with their “Best Song Ever”. The song is intended to be the debut single for their “Where We Are” 2013 album. It was released on Friday and radio programmers began spinning it with a vengence. It debuts in the top 40 on the Pop chart.

Fantasia continues to have success with “Without Me” featuring X-Factor judge Kelly Rowland. She moves into the top 15 on UAC giving her two songs in the top 15 in that format. “Without Me” is charting on 3 charts.

Kelly Clarkson returns to the top 5 on AC with “Catch My Breath”.
