Four milestones this week and it has been a good week for franchises of X-Factor on both sides of the Atlantic.
Cher Lloyd was featured on the 7th season of X-Factor UK and now she’s featured on X-Factor judge Demi Lovato’s “Really Don’t Care”. The song hit twin milestones this week (fraternal rather than identical) by going top 10 on Pop and top 40 on HAC. The top 10 on Top 40 is very competitive so that’s impressive.
Meanwhile, from the US division of X-Factor, we have Fifth Harmony. They went for adds last week and debut with “Bo$$” this week on Pop in the top 50. The label seems determined to make an effort of this release with “Bo$$” also going for adds on Urban and Rhythmic in the coming weeks.
Finally, we have Season 3 7th place finisher Jennifer Hudson going top 30 (and skipping over top 40) on UAC this week with “It’s Your World” and it hasn’t even gone for adds yet.
Danielle returns to the top 50 of Country with “Young in America”.
