Five milestones this week – two debuts, two top 15s and another week at the top.
American Idol Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery goes top 15 this week on Country. “Five More Minutes” is the debut single off of his TBA album. Jeff Gutt was the runner-up on the last season of the US XF and he is now the lead singer for the Stone Temple Pilots. Their “Meadow” went top 20 last week and top 15 this week. It too is the debut single from their TBA album.
Debuting this week are two singles from XF alumni. From the UK franchise, James Arthur (winner of the 9th series) has his debut single debuting on HAC. “Naked” is on his TBA album. Camila Cabello appeared on the second season of US XF as she was consolidated into the girl group “Fifth Harmony” which placed third. On her own now, she has two Pop songs on the Pop charts. “Never be the Same” debuted this week while “Havana” stayed in the number one spot. These are either the second and first or third and second singles off of her upcoming album “Camila” (depending on whether her first solo single “Crying in the Club” makes the album or not).
