Five milestones to kick of December.
We have our first Idol baby on the charts this week. Isaiah Fisher and his mother, Carrie Underwood, collaborated on a version of “Little Drummer Boy”. The song vaults into the top 20 on AC this week. Meanwhile, Idol winner Carrie and Voice judge John Legend have their original “Hallelujah” move into the top 10 on AC. Original Idol winner and Voice judge Kelly Clarkson also moves into the top 10 on AC with “Under the Mistletoe” featuring Brett Eldridge. “We Need a Little Christmas” from Pentatonix enters the top 30 on AC. Rounding out our Christmas songs, Danny Gokey’s 2019 version of “Joy to the World” is back in the top 40 on CAC.
Survivor Chase Rice is sending “Drinkin’ Beer Talkin’ God Amen” for airplay adds this week, but the charts anticipated the song. The single also features Florida Georgia Line and debuted in the top 40 of Country.
