Five Milestones this week on the Monday Morning Mediabase Report.

Country radio features a chart topper and a debut. Morgan Wallen’s “More Than My Hometown” ascends to the top of the chart. Morgan has become a reliable hitmaker and this single is the debut from his upcoming “Dangerous: The Double Album” album (January 8th). Another lead-off single for an upcoming album (TBD) is Scotty McCreery’s “You Time” which debuts on the chart this week.

Leading the charge of Christmas Songs this year is Kelly Clarkson. Her “Under the Mistletoe” has moved into the top 20 on AC. Climbing into the top 40 on AC is Olivia Rox’s “It’s Christmastime”.

Finally, Daniel Seavey as part of Why Don’t We has a top 30 HAC song with “Fallin'”. The group is looking for a single to launch their next album and this could be it.
