Six milestones to report this Monday Morning.

Christmas is coming (Black Friday is this week – that used to be an exciting week for chart watchers) and that means the invasion of the Christmas songs. That invasion always starts on AC. This week, we have three milestones on AC for Christmas songs. Pentatonix leads the charge with their “What Christmas Means to Me” which debuted last week. This week, it is already in the top 30. Lindsey Stirling from AGT/DWTS puts her own spin on “Carol of the Bells” which debuts in the top 40. Trying a harder route, David Archuleta introduces a new Christmas song “Christmas Every Day” which debuts in the top 50.

Country radio sees milestones from two Idol winners. Scotty McCreery heads into the top 15 with his second single (“This is It”) from his latest album. Carrie Underwood is also working her second single and “Love Wins” goes top 30 this week. For both, their current albums are their first albums at a new label.

Danny Gokey and Jordin Sparks team up with the Social Club Misfits on “Tuyo” which debuts on the CAC chart this week. Danny Gokey’s “If You Ain’t It” returns to the top 20 in that format.
