Six milestones to celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada.

So You Think You Can Dance’s (and Canada’s) Tate McRae returns to the Pop charts this week. “uh oh” is from Tate’s TBA album and debuts after going for adds last week. While she first gained success with her dancing, she used her youtube channel to initiate her musical career.

Pentatonix won the third season of The Sing-Off and then also expanded their fan base on youtube (their channel has almost 20 million subscribers). Currently, they have a John Batiste/Diane Warren collaboration “Sweet” on AC radio and the song has gone top 20.

Over on Country radio, The Voice’s Corey Kent goes top 40. Corey was on Blake Shelton’s team during Season 8 and was eliminated in the final 8. “Wild as Her” is a cover that became a hit on streaming services resulting him getting a major label deal.

Finally, we have Harry Styles from the X-Factor (and One Direction). “Music from a Sushi Restaurant” went for adds on HAC last week and this week it entered the top 30. It also hit top 10 on Pop. It is the third single from “Harry’s House” and it is the third song from that album currently in the top 10 (4th, 8th and 10th). Those three songs are also on HAC (3rd, 6th and 28th). The original hit from that album “As It Was” remains at number 1 on AC for a third week.

On the Billboard 200, “Harry’s House” remains at number 5 with 34K in equivalent album sales (-6% from last week). Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” also holds position at 3rd with 46K in equivalent album sales (-1% from last week).
