Six milestones to kick of the 7th month of the year.

Carrie Underwood enters the top 10 on Country with “Cry Pretty”. “Cry Pretty” is the title track from her album to be released on September 14th.

Also from Idol (the season following Carrie’s win) is Mandisa. “Good News” is the fourth single from her “Out of the Dark” album. It achieved top 20 on CAC this week.

Normani’s collaboration with Khalid results in two milestones this week. Normani is from X-Factor US Season 2 and was a member of Fifth Harmony. “Love Lies” from the “Love, Simon” soundtrack goes top 15 on Pop and top 40 on HAC this week.

Jordan Smith is arguably the most successful Voice winner. He won the 9th season of the show and released “Only Love” this weekend. This is the debut single from his third studio album (following albums “Something Beautiful” and “Tis the Season”). “Only Love” debuts in the top 40 of AC.

BGT is represented this week by Calum Scott. His “You Are the Reason” is the second single from his “Only Human” album. It debuted on the HAC chart this week in the top 50.

Returning to the AC chart is Liam Payne’s “Strip that Down” while Stone Temple Pilots (featuring Jeff Gutt on Lead Vocals) return “Roll Me Under” to the top 15 of Active Rock.
