Nine milestones to report this Tuesday morning.

Season 10 American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery goes top 5 on Country radio with “Damn Strait”. This tribute to George Strait is Scotty’s fastest single to reach top 5 being released on October 18th, 2021. The song is the second single off of his “Same Truck” album released on September 17th. “You Time” was the debut single off the album and it went to number one after 48 weeks on the chart.

Another American Idol is Colton Dixon who came in 7th on the 11th season of the show. “Build a Boat” debuts on CAC this week and is likely the lead-off single to a TBA album.

From Season 2 of X-Factor USA, Camila Cabello’s collaboration with Ed Sheehan “Bam Bam” is now top 10 on Pop. The song is just outside of the top 10 on HAC and top 30 on AC. This is her second collaboration with Ed and it is off her “Familia” album.

Also from X-Factor, original UK edition, is Harry Styles. He racks up enough milestones to get his own chapter of the report. “As it Was”, the lead single off of his “Harry’s House” remains number one on the Pop and HAC charts. The song also achieves two other milestones for hitting top 15 on AAA and top 40 on Rhythmic. The song is currently on 5 charts. It first hit number one on Pop back on our May 10th report and is absolutely hovering at number one losing only 35 spins in the last week. Meanwhile, his “Late Night Talking” hit top 15 on Pop this week (not going for adds until the 21st) and top 40 on HAC. Finally, “Music from a Sushi Restaurant” returns top Pop radio and it isn’t even a single yet. Three songs on the Pop chart including first and last position. In addition “Harry’s House” is number 3 on the BB200 in its third week with 113.5K in equivalent album sales (-29%).

Also notable on the BB200 is The Voice’s Morgan Wallen. “Dangerous: The Double Album” is 6th on the chart with 52K in equivalent sales (-3%). This marks the 73rd non-consecutive weeks in the top 10 making it the second longest album in the top 10 of the BB200. Only Adele’s “21” lasted there longer (84 weeks).
