Monday Morning Mediabase 05/03/2021

Just one milestone to kick off the month of May (plus a couple of returning songs.

Carrie Underwood has a long and successful career in Country music, but her latest album is her first Gospel album. “My Savoir” is an album that Carrie has wanted to make for a while and her aim is to inspire. While her coronation song was her first hit, “Jesus, Take the Wheel” was her first hit post-Idol. Her latest single, also mentions the man as this one is titled “Nothing But the Blood of Jesus” which is a traditional American hymn written in 1876. The song debuts on the CAC charts this week.

Returning to the charts this week are “Work From Home” from Fifth Harmony on AC and “Getting Over Him” from Lauren Alaina on Country.

Over on the BB200, Morgan Wallen stands firm at number 3. His “Dangerous: The Double Album” moved 54K units (-3% from last week).
