Monday Morning Mediabase 03/25/2019

Four milestones this week representing our 3 major shows.

Let’s start with CAC and Idol. Danny Gokey from Season 8 of American Idol moves into the top 15 with “Haven’t Seen You Yet”. This is likely the debut single from his upcoming album. Jasmine Murray also appeared on the 8th season of American Idol where she came in 12th or 13th (two people were eliminated the first night of finals). Jasmine’s “While You Were Holding Me” debuts this week.

Mogran Wallen comes to us from the sixth season of The Voice. His audition caused Shakira and Usher to turn their chairs and he ended up on Team Usher. He was later stolen by Adam Levine and was eliminated during the playoffs (two artists eliminated from each team). Despite not making the finals, Morgan has gone on to have one of the more successful careers. He’s already had a number one hit on the Country charts and his album has shown legs on the BB200. His “Whisky Glasses” enters the top 15 on Country radio this week. Returning to the top 40 on UAC is Koryn Hawthorne with “Won’t He Do It”.

Ally Brooke is from the second season of X-Factor US. She was placed in Fifth Harmony and is now pursuing solo projects. “Low Key” entered the top 30 on Rhythmic and is already top 30 on Pop.
