As we shake the last of the Christmas songs off the charts, we see three milestones and lots of songs returning to former heights.
Morgan Wallen, who competed on The Voice, hit top 30 this week on Country. “Chasin’ You” is his fourth single from his 2018 album “Morgan Wallen”. The previous two singles went to number 1 on Country.
Camila Cabello’s “My Oh My” is going for adds on HAC today and Pop tomorrow. The song debuted on Pop last week and enters the top 40 this week. This single is from her 2019 “Romance album.
Like Camila, Harry Styles is also a solo artist that tried out for X-Factor and got put in a band that was successful before becoming a solo artist again. He has had great success on the album front, but “Adore You” looks to be headed to being his most successful single. This week, the song entered the AC chart in the top 40. His former bandmate Niall Horan’s latest single “Nice to Meet You” returned to the top 40 on AC and top 15 on HAC. Their former bandmate Louis Tomlinson returned to the HAC chart with “We Made It”.
Over on CAC, Danny Gokey’s wanted returned to the chart and to the top 40.
