Happy New Year everyone! Our first chart of 2018 features
Camila Cabello is currently charting at number one on two charts. “Havana” (the second single she released in her solo career) features Young Thug and continued to top the Pop chart during the Christmas freeze and arrives at number one on the Rhythmic chart this week.
James Arthur’s latest single “Naked” is from his upcoming album. “Naked” won’t go for adds for two more week, but is already making waves on HAC as it moves into the top 40 this week.
As we rinse the Christmas songs out of the chart (and next week, get past the year end weekend countdown shows), songs come bubbling back onto the chart. On AC, James Arthur’s long-ago hit “Say You Won’t Let Go” returns to the top 5 while Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Love so Soft” return to the top 15. Carrie Underwood is featured on Keith Urban’s “The Fighter” which returns to the top 20 on AC. Lindsey Stirling’s “Love’s Just a Feeling” returns to the top 40. Over on CAC, Mandisa returns to the top 15 with “Bleed the Same”
Billboard reports that Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” returns to number 1 over the post-Christmas sales week.
