When Janice Freeman from The Voice Team Miley Cyrus was eliminated from season 13 in 11th place, the two bid a very tearful goodbye. As far as Miley was concerned, her support of the R&B singer would not end with the season.
And now, the pop star has put her money where her mouth is. In a tearful Instagram story, Janice described how her former coach helped her get a home when she had nowhere else to go.
“Miley, you are my dog, my best friend and I will defend you to the bitter end,” Janice said in the clip. “I’m telling you all, that woman is no joke. Not only did she do that, she put me and my family in a wonderful two-bedroom apartment until I found something. You don’t understand that these people are real, her heart is so true.”
Janice went on to clarify the situation on Twitter. “Thank you ALL but she [Miley] found us placement until we found permanent housing, gave me the deposit, covered me for 6 months so I can get on my feet!” Janice added, “@MileyCyrus you are one of my closest friends and what you did for me and my family Im praying GOD gives you the desire of your heart!”
