The Voice 8 runner-up, Meghan Linsey, performed a crowd-pleasing version of “Freeway of Love” on this year’s A Capitol 4th special on PBS. The special on PBS stations across the country. Check your listings–the network will be repeating the broadcast all weekend.
Sporting bright red patriotic-appropriate attire, and with a slew of matching backup singers, Meghan seemed to be having the time of her life entertaining the crowd assembled at the Washington DC landmark. The end of the program featured an awesome fireworks display, befitting the the nation’s capital.
It was the 35th anniversary of A Capitol 4th. The special also featured Barry Manilow, Nichole Scherzinger, Ronan Tynan, KC and the Sunshine Band and more. West Wing’s Bradley Whitford served as host.
