Making The Band’s O-Town Return After 10 Years With “Skydive” AUDIO

Before American Idol, there was ABC/MTVs Making The Band, with hip hop impresario,  P. Diddy, attempting to mold superstars from Reality TV.

O-Town, the subject of the very first series, which began in 2000,  split up in 2004. Ten years later, the band, including original members Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller have reunited (Ashley Parker Angel declined an invite to join) to release a new ballad, “Skydive.”

With Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block back together, why not? Even Danity Kane, the subject of series 3 and announced their comeback on the MTV music awards last year.

A new album, titled Lines and Circles, drops on August 3.  Check out O-Town’s “Skydive” here. What do you think? Did you watch Making the Band? Are you an O-Town fan, happy to see them back? Are you sad Ashley Parker Angel didn’t join them?

So many questions I can’t answer. Because, to be honest, I did not watch the show…
