Watch Madonna and Stevie Wonder pay tribute to the legendary artist, Prince on Sunday’s (May 22) 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
Madonna started off the tribute to the late musician–who died on April 21–sitting on a purple throne, decked out in a lace sleeved jacket. The look evoked the Purple One’s 80’s look, back when both superstars ruled the charts.
Madonna delivered a solid performance of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” before the pop star brought out a surprise guest, R&B icon, Stevie Wonder, who joined her for a rendition of Prince’s beloved “Purple Rain.” The performance closed out the awards ceremony.
