The sibling trio, Girl Named Tom, just dropped their post-The Voice debut and it’s a Christmas EP, released on Republic Records.
Titled, One More Christmas, the Liechty siblings–Celeb, Joshua and Bekah–put together a set of songs they are really excited about.
“Our new EP, One More Christmas is finally released TO THE WORLD!!” The Voice season 21 winners wrote on social media. “We poured our hearts and souls into this magical album.” The set is a mix of 4 beloved standards and four original songs. “We hope you love this brand new Christmas classic as much as we do!” they wrote.
Girl Named Tom thanked their collaborators: “It was an honor do do this project with the tremendous @tobygadmusic and the spectacular @skylarmones. and thanks to @republicrecords for your belief in our music!”
Girl Named Tom won The Voice in the fall of 2021, as part of Team Kelly Clarkson. The group’s classic tight-knit sibling harmonies made them instant fan-favorites. A record deal with Republic Records was part of The Voice winner’s prize package.
Girl Named Tom will open for the Pentatonix Christmas tour
The group has been touring steadily since winning the show last year, and will open for The Sing-Off season 3 winners, Pentatonix on their popular Christmas tour. Member Scott Hoying co-wrote and sings on the EP’s closing song, “Homesick Melody.” The tour kicks off in Oakland, California and ends in Uncasville, Connecticut on December 22.
“We are beyond delighted to join @ptxofficial on this year’s Christmas Tour!” the group stated in their tour announcement. “Way back to 2012, every time PTX put up a YouTube video, we would gather around our family’s Dell computer in absolute AWE of what we heard coming out of those speakers. To this day, they are a huge source of inspiration in harmonizing and arranging.”
