The winner of Dancing with the Stars season 25 was revealed in last night’s finale. Jordan Fisher and his pro-partner Lindsay Arnold waltzed away with the Mirror Ball trophy.
The pair and their fellow final four–Emma Slater and Drew Scott, Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson, Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas appeared on Good Morning America Wednesday for the traditional GMA after-party.
Coming in second to Jordan was violinist and YouTube star, Lindsey Stirling who didn’t mince words when she was asked about her experience as a contestant on America’s Got Talent in 2010.
“I was so viciously told that I would never succeed and that I should just throw in the towel and do something else,” Lindsey said recalling how judges Piers Morgan and Sharon Osborne said she would never appeal to a broader audience, “At the time it was devastating. It was heartbreaking. It was humiliating. But I love that story now, because it’s a part of me. I love to share with people the message that you can determine your own success, no one else can write your story.”
