Lyndsey Parker from Reality Rocks confirms what Lee DeWyze hinted during a recent concert, that his next single is the ballad “Beautiful Like You”. Lee will perform the song on this week’s Idol results show on Thursday.
As Lyndsey points out, it’s the only song on Live it Up that Lee didn’t co-write.
But, as it often goes with Idols (all 3 of David Cook’s singles from his post-Idol debut were written by others) getting co-writes released as singles can be tough.
So, what do you think of Lee’s next single? It’s not one of my favorite songs on the album–I would have preferred “Brooklyn Bridge” or “Earth Stood Still” but what do I know?
Then again, considering that Live it Up fell off the BB200 weeks ago, I have to wonder if RCA is going to push a second single very hard…
