Lea Michele Sings “If You Say So” About the Death of Cory Monteith (AUDIO)

Glee star, Lea Michele, is closer to the release of her debut album Louder, which you can stream on iTune now right here. The set is due on March 4.

The album’s most haunting tune is “If You Say So” which takes place one week after the death of an unnamed loved one.  Lea’s co-star, and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, lost his battle with drug addiction last July in a Vancouver hotel room.

“It’s been seven whole days, seven whole days” the verse begins, “Since you lost your fight.”

“I wanna see your face, I got some things to say,” she pleads in the song “Seven whole days, seven whole days since I heard your voice.”

“And the fallen hero haunts my thoughts/How could you leave me this way.”

In a recent interview with V Magazine, Lea said of the song,“It’s the only song that no one’s heard. I can’t talk about it until people hear it.  It’s just one of those things where I understand what it means and you can take it or leave it. That song is for me.”
