A moderator at Kris Allen’s Official Website confirms that the Idol Season 8 winner is now on the RCA records roster. His previous label, Jive has been moved into the RCA Records group as a result of recent restructuring at Sony.

Yes, we are still with you. As you know, there have been some changes here at Sony so things have been a little hectic over the past few weeks. As of now, Kris is on RCA records, where he will be very well taken care of. Once we hear of new music from Kris, we will definitely share the news with you guys. Thanks for being patient.
Kris is currently working on his next album. No release date has been announced yet.
