Khloe Kardashian & Mario Lopez to Host X Factor (OFFICIAL)

Whoo hoo. It’s official. Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will be the co-hosts of the X Factor live shows. I can barely contain my excitement. I was just saying that there aren’t enough Kardashians on my TV. We really need more.

Television personality Khloé Kardashian Odom and TV host and actor Mario Lopez will host the second season of THE X FACTOR airing Wednesdays (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Odom began her career as a television star and has helped build the incredible Kardashian family brand on E!, while Lopez started in entertainment as a young actor and has appeared in TV, film and Broadway, and currently hosts the entertainment news magazine show, “Extra.”

Odom and Lopez will first appear as hosts during the LIVE broadcasts of THE X FACTOR beginning this November.

“The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out,” said Simon Cowell. “Mario and Khloé are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn’t be happier.”

“I’m so thrilled to become a part of THE X FACTOR family,” said Odom. “I’ve been a big fan of the show and look forward to working with Simon and all of the judges. It’s going to be so much fun!”

“I’m very excited to be joining THE X FACTOR team,” said Lopez. “I love the show, and I’ve been a big fan of Simon Cowell and the judges for a long time. Khloé and I have been friends for years and I know we’ll be a great team and have a blast.”

Tune in tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 17 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), when the judges reveal which four acts in each of the four categories – Teens, Young Adults, Groups and Over 25s – continue and which two acts are eliminated. Then, as the “Judges’ Homes” round comes to a close and a new phase of the competition begins, THE X FACTOR returns with special LIVE episodes Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and on a special night, Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live /PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
