Kesha can’t record any new music until her lawsuit with Sony music and Dr. Luke is resolved, but nothing is stopping her from heading to the small screen.
Along with country singers Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett, Kesha is set to play herself on the ABC musical drama, Nashville, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The trio are all set for one-episode cameos, but they will not appear in the same hour. Ballerini and Rhett will both perform recent hits. Ballerini recently received the Rising Star award at Billboard’s Women in Music event in December.
Earlier this year, Kesha appeared on CW dramedy Jane the Virgin as Jane’s nosy neighbor. She also had a role in the film adaptation of the popular animated show, Jem and the Holograms, which starred Nashville regular Aubrey Peeples (Layla).
And who could forget Kesha’s turn as judge on the ill-fated ABC competition reality show, Rising Star, back in 2014?
Nashville returns from winter hiatus on returns Wednesday at 10 p.m. on ABC.
