Simon Cowell is looking to surround himself with females on the 3rd season of the X Factor. Along with Demi Lovato, who has signed on for another season, Entertainment Weekly reports that Destiny Child’s Kelly Rowland is close to inking a deal. Kelly was a judge on the 8th season of X Factor UK.
Fox’s The X Factor is looking to have plenty of girl power next fall. The judges panel will likely consist of executive producer Simon Cowell and three female judges.
One will be returning judge Demi Lovato, as the network previously announced. If all goes according to plan, another will be singer, dancer and Super Bowl halftime show-stopper Kelly Rowland. The Grammy-winning Destiny’s Child founding member has previously been floated as a potential judge in the press, but EW can exclusively report she’s firming up a deal to join the show
Latin singer, Paulina Rubio, is reportedly in talks to take the 4th spot. Oy. Old man Simon surrounded by a bevy of young women. It sounds really creepy, doesn’t it?
X Factor returns to FOX on Wednesdays and Thursdays this fall.
