Kelly Clarkson will be back in the studio tomorrow.
Darkchild aka Rodney Jerkins tweeted, “Taking today to prep the music for tomorrows session with @kelly_clarkson Did a great song for her, can’t wait to get her vocal on it! ”
Jerkins produced Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”, Beyonce’s “Deja Vu” and hits for Monica, Destiny’s Child, Toni Braxton, Britney Spears, and Mariah Carey in the early 2000s. He also produced Jennifer Lopez’s “If You Had My Love”.
Recently, Kelly entered the studio with Steve Jordan to record, “Why Don’t You Try, ” a bluesy, R&B influenced song written by Eric Hutchinson.
On Valentines day, Kelly tweeted excitedly about her album, “I record my last song on the 25th of this month and then we will be releasing the album! This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there’s a little bit of a country vibe/influence on a couple of songs.”
