Despite most movie theaters shutting down due to coronavirus concerns, Universal Pictures and Dreamworks decided to release the Trolls sequel Trolls World Tour on schedule. On Friday (April 10) the animated film went both theatrical and VOD rental. Kelly Clarkson appears in the film as Delta Dawn, a country music singer. And today, as part of opening day events, she dropped a music video for her song “Just Sing.”
Additionally, Trolls World Tour stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake appeared on The Kelly Clarkson show to promote the movie. Everybody participated remotely–via Zoom–including Kelly who is quarantining with her family at their Montana ranch.
In the movie, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock.
The “Just Sing” music video features Kelly, who gets some extra help from The Kelly Clarkson Show staff. The staff and Kelly belt out the upbeat tune, all from their homes. Cute doggos also make an appearance!

In the interview. Kelly, Anna and Justin play a game, “Zoom Around the Room,” in which all three co-stars are challenged to find specific objects around their home as quickly as possible and explain how it ended up there. Kelly’s kids, Remmy and River Rose make a cameo.
