The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) held its ninth annual awards ceremony Saturday night (Feb 19) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The Kelly Clarkson Show won in the daytime television category for both make-up and hair, While Dancing with the Stars nabbed an award for Best Contemporary Hair Styling.

Saturday Night Live won three awards in this category, including Best Contemporary Make-up, Best Period and/or Character Make-Up and Best Special Make-Up Effects. Dancing with the Stars won in the Best Contemporary Hair Styling category.

The Kelly Clarkson show won three Daytime Emmys last year for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host . Additionally, the show won Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. The show also won a technical award for Outstanding Live and Direct to Tape mixing.
Also, Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough won a Best Choreography Award at last year’s Creative Arts Emmys award for his “Let’s Fall in Love” performance which he performed on the show.
