Kelly Clarkson Premieres New Single “Catch My Breath”! (AUDIO)

Check out the premiere of Kelly Clarkson’s NEW single, “Catch My Breath,” the lead single off her 1st greatest hits album due out November 19th, Greatest Hits: Chapter 1!

“Catch My Breath” is a catchy, uplifting pop/rock tune cowritten by Kelly, her longtime musical director Jason Halbert, and Eric Olson. There’s a definite 80s influence that makes its sound a cousin to “You Love Me” and “Alone” from Stronger, two album tracks that were very popular with Kelly fans. The lyrics refer to the knocks Kelly’s endured through her career and personal journey but also introduce us to a happier, stronger (natch) Kelly who is finally free to be the person she wants to be. It’s a fitting way to introduce Kelly’s first greatest hits set and set up the next chapter in her life and career.

What do you think about “Catch My Breath”? Is it going to be a CHR and HAC hit?

UPDATE: Added AUDIO of Kelly’s interview with Ryan Seacrest this mornings. Listen for lots of sweet reminiscing, and lots of awh! moments of Kelly talking about her man Brandon Blackstock.
