The original album has a great analog sound to it and all the awesomeness of gritty ’70s rock singers. The tones just bounce off that record. There’s so much character there. When I first heard it, it’d never seen (a production of) it. I had no idea what it was. And I remember envisioning what it would be like onstage. Then I saw the (1973) film. How Gwen Stefani played stylist for this ‘Voice’ winner – Singer Craig Wayne Boyd credits his Hollywood transformation to music’s biggest chameleon of all: Gwen Stefani. “She was the one that had my hair cut on the show originally,” the Season 7 champ of “The Voice” told Page Six this week. “She had a lot of thoughts for me. Paula Abdul Cancels Performance Due to an Injury, Tells Fans I ‘Will Miss You While I Recover’ – Paula Abdul has canceled her Saturday performance in Denver, Colorado, after suffering an injury. The 54-year-old singer’s reps confirmed to ET that she would be taking some time off to “rest and recover.” “Due to a temporary injury, Paula will be unable to perform at tonight’s show in Denver, Colorado. After a short rest and recovery, Paula is excited to continue on the Total Package Tour as originally scheduled,” the statement read.
