Holy cow! Congratulations Kelly Clarkson! The original American Idol interrupted her concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Wednesday night to blurt out the news: She’s pregnant with her second child.
Kelly and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, became proud parents to baby girl River Rose, June 2014. The singer has hinted in interviews that she was ready to have another, despite her first pregnancy consisting of months and months of morning sickness. I hope Kelly has a barf bag at the ready off stage! Congrats to Kelly and Brandon!
Here’s the video: Kelly gets choked up and says, “I wasn’t planning on announcing this…I’m totally pregnant!” The crowd cheers.
Kelly talks about being hormonal. “I haven’t vomited yet!” before singing “Because of You.”
Our friend, SnapCracklyPop, reports that Kelly, overcome with emotion, paused during her performance of “Piece by Piece” to blurt out “I’m totally pregnant!”
