Kellie Pickler performed her original Christmas song “My Christmas Caroline” live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, on Dec. 1.
The sentimental holiday tune was co-written with her husband, Kyle Jacobs, and is dedicated to the grandma who raised her, Faye Pickler, who died several years ago.
“I think we all have those loved ones…when they pass, the holidays are sometimes never the same,” Kellie shared, “That’s alright. We hold on to the good things…those memories that are beautiful and that we can cherish. Kellie continued, “My husband and I put together those beautiful memories in the form of a song…it’s about growing up with my grandma.”
The American Idol alum and Dancing with the Stars winner, is currently starring with her husband, in CMT’s reality show, I Love Kellie Pickler, produced by Ryan Seacrest.
