After Carrie Underwood completed her year-long “Storyteller” tour, she took the act downunder to co-headline a mini-tour with Keith Urban.
The American Idol season 4 winner and former judge hit Keith’s birthplace, New Zealand first before taking the tour to several cities in Australia where the Nashville resident grew up. The two wound up their stint in Brisbane on December 17.
Both singers made their first New Zealand appearance ever in Wellington December 3. Watch the live debut of their duet “The Fighter” which appears on Keith’s latest album, Ripcord.
Also, check out the duo’s cover of Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty’s “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” performed in Canberra Dec. 10. Keith and Carrie reprise the duet they performed to great fan fair on the American Idol series finale earlier this year.
