Dancing with the Stars winner Laurie Hernandez joined forces with her pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy to recreate a number from the animated movie Sing.
Laurie, also known for her gold medal wins as part of Team USA’s Final Five at the Rio Olympics, tweeted a video of her routine, which pays homage to the grocery store dance performed by Rosita to “Bomboleo” by Gipsy Kings.
“Was so excited about @singmovie, I couldn’t help recreating 1 of my favorite scenes! Check it out & don’t miss SING in theaters this Wednesday!” tweeted Laurie excitedly.
The animated feature, set to be released on December 21, is like Glee meets American Idol. If you need a fix of either one of those cancelled shows, Sing may be just what you need in your life right now. The film also stars Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, Seth MacFarlane, Matthew McConaughey and more.
