Pop star, Katy Perry, will perform at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, sources have confirmed with Billboard magazine.
Rumors about Kate’s appearance has been bandied about since August after the National Football League, according to some sources, were considering her along with Coldplay and Rihanna for the prestigious gig.
On the heels of that news, came word that the NFL was asking the artists under consideration to “pay to play.” In other words, since the artists would be seeing a significant boost in sales after their performance in front of millions of people, they should consider sharing those post-show profits with the league.
Well, you can imagine how well that request went over. Katy, appearing on ESPN’s College Game Day this past Saturday, hinted that she let the league know exactly where she stood on the matter. “I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl,” said Katy.
The NFL has neither confirmed nor denied Billboard’s report.

Katy makes hilarious predictions based on totally random criteria. And she ended up with solid results. Her appearance is pretty wacky, in the best possible way.
