  1. Yikes, that wasn’t good at all. They should have picked a different song

  2. I love seeing Michael Orlands there with Andrew. It’s so comforting seeing him go out with these Idols on their press tours. He seems like such a nice man.

  3. Well, Andrew sounded good. Then Katie came in in a different key….oops. It was extremely brief though. Try again, Kids. They both are very talented, though. Got some time to work on the tour songs now. Do NOT let the producers dictate to you. You’ve got, what, two songs? Lobby hard for your own stuff if its any good, but, whatever, don’t let them push you around. Katie, go acoustic and quiet on one song at least. Andrew, acoustic all the way.

  4. That wasn’t bad at all. Katie sounded very good. Well I only watched the Letterman one.

  5. Katie does very well in interviews too. I didn’t vote for her but wish her much success. She is a charm.

  6. I sure wish I had had Katie’s composure and maturity at her age! I wish her much success.
Andrew never caught my attention……I am sorry to say that he reminded me so much of Danny from last year(which I did not like at all.) (I know this is so not fair to Andrew but it is what it is!) EH…

  7. Man, that was rough. They really came off as wanna-be’s, not ready for prime time. I wonder what happens for them after the tour. Back to the drawing room? I can see Katie trying for Broadway or at least some stage. I don’t think either of them is anywhere near ready to make and sell any albums.

  8. Superhuman? Super horrendous is more like it. The mediocrity of Garcia’s voice is magnified when he’s singing with somebody who sounds decent.

  9. I can see Katie trying for Broadway or at least some stage. I don’t think either of them is anywhere near ready to make and sell any albums.

Making albums in a studio where they can fix her vocal errors is where she belongs until she learns to consistently sing on key. She needs to stay the hell away from Broadway, she’d be atrocious.
